If you have an analog landline phone, you can use our phone adapter to convert it into a VoIP system. Essentially, this means you will be using the internet to make and receive your calls with your landline phone, leading to lower costs. 

No need to set up bulky and expensive hardware. Just plug cables and the adapter will find the network itself, allowing you to make and receive calls instantly. We have tried to make the process as quick and hassle-free as possible, which means you won't need to do most of the work - our adapter will take care of it!

Please follow the following steps:

1- Turn off the Linksys device

  • make sure wires are connected properly
  • internet wire should be connected to the LAN port (yellow color) of your internet modem
  • please turn on the device, wait for some time; it will trigger the response from the system

2 - If it still didn't work, turn off both the internet modem and Linksys device

  • Now switch the wire connected to the internet from LAN port 1 to 2 or vice versa. Wait for two minutes, then turn on the internet modem. When it is active, power On the Linksys device to see if your phone has started working.

3 -Try a different handset and see if its works

To troubleshoot the landline phone adapter, please follow these instructions:

1- Make sure the phone adapter is connected to the internet

2- Check the light status on your Linksys device>

  • the power light should be stable green
  • Internet light should be steady green (if it's flickering). It's fine
  • phone line 1 and 2 should be stable green
  1. If the power light show red or blinking red, try to change your power adapter and see if the power light gets steady green.
  2. If the internet light is flashing red, its means your device is not connected to the internet. Check your internet connection to make sure it's working.
  3. If phone-line 1 and 2 are blinking red, follow these steps.
  • Turn off both the internet modem and Linksys device
  • Now switch the wire connected to the internet from LAN port 1 to 2 or vice versa. Wait for two minutes, then turn on the internet modem. When it is active, power On the Linksys device to see if your phone has started working.
  • Try a different handset and see if its works.
